General Information

The Girard Coalition is a community-based, community-led organization. In order to ensure the community’s participation in our efforts six committees were created to develop and implement initiatives and strategies for advancing the mission of the organization in the following areas: clean & safe, marketing & promotions, political outreach, design, community coordinating, economic development and fundraising.

Clean & Safe

Goal

To develop and implement strategies that further the revitalization of the Girard Avenue commercial corridor as it relates to issues of cleanliness and safety.

Goal

To market and promote the Girard Avenue commercial corridor to the Philadelphia City and Metropolitan region as a destination for living, working, shopping, dining and enjoying life.
