Girard Coalition, Inc. Announces March Promotion for
Girard Avenue Businesses
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day the Girard Coalition, Inc. announces the “Show your 4-leaf clover and save!!!” promotion. Participating businesses will distribute 4-leaf clovers to customers and/or offer discounts or promotional items to customers that show their 4-leaf clovers.
The promotion is one of many efforts taken by the Coalition to work directly with Girard Avenue businesses in helping to better market their products and services. The goal of the promotion is to encourage Philadelphia residents to shop and dine in both the historic and new shops, restaurants and bars on Girard Avenue.
Businesses may participate in two ways: (1) become a participating merchant and offer a special discount or promotional item to customers with the “Show your 4-leaf clover and save!!!” card. (2) Direct customers to participating merchants by handing out customer cards and displaying a list of participating merchants in your business.
The promotion will run throughout the entire month of March.
The Girard Coalition, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Girard Avenue. It is a broad coalition of over 50 neighborhood groups, businesses and major institutions along Girard Avenue, a major east-west artery in Philadelphia, who have come together to stimulate commerce, increase foot traffic, and grow the population of the Avenue, creating a vibrant and exciting commercial corridor.
